Five-piece country band · Lincoln, Nebraska
Nebraska's Elite Country Band.
If you need a country band to look great, but sound even better, hire The Colten Wyatt Band.
Country played the way country should sound.
A true 5-piece with fiddle, steel, mandolin, guitars, and harmonies.
Stages we've played

Geneva Days
Hallam Fest
Fairs, weddings, and everything in between.

Festivals, fairs, street dances
We’ve headlined Geneva Days, Hallam Fest, and Nehawka Concert in the Park. We handle our own load-in and make the committee’s job easy.

Weddings
We can play the whole day: solo violin at the ceremony, acoustic during cocktail hour, and the full band for a reception your guests will still be talking about on Monday.

Corporate, private, bar
Holiday parties, anniversaries, grand openings, and Friday nights at the bar. We’ve played Boot Barn’s grand openings in Lincoln and Grand Island and plenty of Saturday nights at Rosie’s and the Bourbon.

A lot of bands have a fiddle. A lot of bands have a steel. We have both.
Most regional country bands run guitar, bass, drums, and a singer. We bring fiddle, steel, mandolin, keys, and the guitars you’d expect, and we play the right one for each song. That’s five pieces on a normal night, or an acoustic solo or duo for a smaller room.
The frontman. Colten Wyatt has been performing since he was eight and holds a bachelor’s and a master’s in music education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He sings, writes, and runs the band.

Easy to work with.
Excellent sound.
Excellent band.
D.B.
One band for the whole wedding.
Most wedding bands only play the reception. We can cover the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner too, so you have one contract and one timeline instead of three vendors.

Ceremony
Solo violin for the processional, the recessional, and any hymns you want.

Cocktail hour
Stripped-down acoustic on a Bose system, no drums. Guests can still hear each other.

Dinner
Same dialed-back vibe, or low-volume background depending on the room.

Reception
The full five-piece band, and a dance floor that stays full until the last song.

Peace On Earth is out now.
Peace On Earth is our first original single, out now on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and everywhere else. Slow down, go down an old county road, and sing along. Read the release story and the full lyrics.
